Here are some useful and / or interesting Scouting links. Please, however, finish reading our site before Surfing onwards!

 + Montagu Explorer Scout Unit covering Datchet, Windsor, Eton, Slough, Langley and the surrounding areas.

 + ScoutLink is a safe Internet Relay Chat (IRC) formed by Steve Goodson after some unpleasant characters invaded the Scout chat channels on the public IRC servers. You can register with ScoutLink from here.

 + Steve Godson also has some informative Scout pages of his own.

 + John English is a Cub Leader for a cub pack in Pittsburgh, USA. John is an active leader, and if you meet him in an IRC session (nickname BigBird, he's a fan of Sesame Street!), mention "Crabro" to him - he'll know who you mean! John maintains the Nide Scout pages, which contain a wealth of useful information and a relevant story or two....

 + Richard May runs the Norfolk Scouts on the Internet pages, and has an ambition to get all the Norfolk Scout Groups onto the Web. His Group (28th Norwich) has another link to ours - their Cub Leader, Wendy Green, is the daughter of our Scout Leader, Tony Thornton.

 + Two of the largest UK Scouting sites, in no particular order, are ScoutBase and ScoutNet. Give them both a try, there's lots of useful stuff on both sites.

 + You can search for other Troops at Spider - the world wide Scout database.

 + The 2nd Onchan Scout Troop is in the Isle of Man. Find out about the Troop, Scouts, Leaders, Activities, Places to Stay and don't forget to check out all the latest news and information and then sign their Guest Book. You can also mail them from here.

 + The 1st Theale & Calcot Scout Troop site is run by Ewan Evans. Their site includes general group information plus some pictures, a penpal bureau and badge swapping.

 + Becky's Guiding Resource Centre has some excellent Guiding Resources.

 + Links to knotting sites can be found under Roper's Knot Links

 + Peter Suber maintains another excellent source of Knotting links.

 + Don Buchan has a speciality SuperScouter page with some excellent material. Don also maintains a Scouting FTP site, everything zipped up to reduce bandwidth on the web.

 + Grant O'Neil has a useful Scout web site with scouting links, scouting songs, a song book and details about Australian Venturers.

 + This is the official web site for Cornish Scouting. Contact: Andy Hill.

 + Darin McGrew has a useful set of Scouting related links, plus gravity powered car pages.

 + The Australian Guides Home Page. includes separate sections for Guides and Leaders.

 + A relatively new Scout Site for a big village group in Avon, run by K Wallis.

 + Earl Bateman runs the 5th Tillsonburg BPSA Pack, located in Tillsonburg Ontario Canada. Their page supports the Baden-Powell Scout Association of Ontario, which is new in Canada.

 + Early web site anounouncing a Ham Radio Net in Santa Clara (Silicon) Valley CA, USA for Scouting and Hams. Objective is to form a Ham Radio Explorers Post. This URL will be there but may change in format or content.

 + Troop 448/Renton Washington links to backpacking and camping information.

 + Pack 215, in San Francisco, USA contains information on Pinewood Derbies (an American Cub Scouting phenomona), patch (badge) and link trading, local Unit newsletters, and an excellent Webmasters toolbox called the "Webmaster's Campsite".

 + Los Amigos District BSA Home Page located in Orange County, California

 + The site is about the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 763, Sabina, Ohio. It features the boys, their ranks and accomplishments. It also has link to other scout troops.

 + Information on the Catholic Guides of Ireland (CGI) and in particular guiding in the Diocese of Dublin.

 + Pack 555 Washington, North Kitsap.

 + The Cellar Dwellers Darwen District Venture Scout & Ranger Guide Unit are a District Joint Unit in East Lancashire. Their site includes links to various Scout/Guide sites, a photo gallery and a copy of their programme.

 + The Connecticut Rivers Council We are constantly under construction. This site has been approved for distribution and will become the official site of the Connecticut Rivers Council very shortly.

 + WebGuides - Links for Leaders How to use the Net and the Web to provide the very program for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, plus great links to Guiding/Scouting sites and other useful Web locations.

 + The Girl Guides of Canada, Quebec Council, Sangam Area page is just getting off the ground, and hopes to be a guiding resource as well as an exchange among the units plus a venue for the girls to find themselves on the net.

 + Boy Scout Troop 41 from Bay Village, Ohio, USA is run by Richard Gash.

 + Cub Scout Pack 201 Ma'ema'e Elementary School in Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S.A.

 + The excellent and official Northumberland County Web Site is run by Bill Keenlyside.

 + The web page of the Clement Ader group in Toulouse who belong to the Unitary Scouts of France, is run by Eric Martin

 + Farah runs a page about the 6th and 35th Coy South Guides in Singapore.

 + Chris Maddock is the webmaster of the Southampton West District, UK site, which includes items about the District, past Scout section competitions, District Diary and a link to a Troop Management Software package that costs only £10!

 + Daniel Anderson is webmaster of the Sir George Knox Rover Crew's web site which includes the most comprehensive listing of Australian Rover Crews on the Internet.

 + Nathan Anderson runs a site in Geelong, Australia and would like you to visit their site.

 + Jim Couston runs a page about the Troop 112 Wheeling in Illinois.

 + The 1st Campbelltown Scout Group is located 40 km south-west of Sydney, the Group has been operating for about 70 years. The City of Campbelltown has a population of 100,000 people and is one of Sydney's population growth areas, having many new housing estates.

 + Nicolas Lymbouris runs a page about the The 284 Psimolofou Group which has represented Scouting in Cyprus since 1913.

 + Steven A. Blackman Sr runs a site containing updated information on the progress of the most active Boy Scout Troop in Saganaw District, Fairfield County Council, BSA - Troop 8 Bridgeport!

 + Nicholas Di Francesco says Come check out our Official Troop 376 web page! It is updated constantly. It features great links, recipies, pictures and helpful knick-knacks.

 + Thomas Heavey runs a page about the Troop 299 based in Tacoma, Washington on the North Pacific Coast of the US.

 + Alan Dodson runs the Rescue Team pages of the Parrottsville Volunteer Fire Department, Parrottsville, Tennessee.

 + Jack Woolley is just constructing his Troop Home Pages and says - My home page is under construction, and I need more input. Please help, I can use anything about scouting. Thank you.

 + One good way of getting your pages read is to register them with the Web Search Engines. Submit-it is devoted to telling the search engines about your site. I registered this site with 8 search engines and web crawlers using this link and it took less than half an hour.

 + Although not a Scout Site, Virtual Brighton and Hove provides you with the very best information service of "Whats On" in Brighton and Hove.
